"I love staying here at the Inn at the Beach. It makes visiting my father in Venice such a joy. I get to spend time with him during the day and enjoy the beach in the morning and evening. The staff is always great and courteous and they even gave me a great upgrade on this visit. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in Venice. Cathleen C"

"I initially wanted to give this place a lower rating due to the villa I rented on January 11 for an April trip was given to someone else. I found this out 2 days before we checked in! I rented a villa with a separate bedroom ,queen sofa sleeper and a full kitchen with oven. We needed the oven to prepare our Easter dinner that was ordered from Honeybaked ham. There was 2 of us traveling, not a couple. It was assumed we were a couple and moved 2 a studio with one bed, no sofa sleeper and no oven. Being 2 days before the trip it was too late to book elsewhere. They provided a twin air mattress that was pretty thin! We ended up taking turns sleeping in bed. I booked through Expedia and was told when I found out that I should have booked through them directly and/or provided needing 2 beds in special requests. If I book a specific villa that’s what I should get. Once we arrived we loved the place just not the bed situation and no oven. She did offer to call around to other places but at that point it was too late as I would have ended up paying more. The grounds were beautiful, it was quiet and the pool was wonderful. We live in Washington so flying across the country to sleep on an air mattress was not ideal! No offer of any type of compensation, especially since when I booked the room there was about a $300 difference in the 2 rooms! We go to Venice every year and decided we wanted more than a hotel room. With that said I will definitely book next year but will b"

"Nice, clean little retro house. We loved it. Thoughtful details for guests, even gallons of spring water for coffee. Very convenient for Braves CoolToday park and good restaurants. Comfy bed, nice linens. We will rent again! "
