Google maps put us in the back of the hotel but someone who worked at the hotel knew we were confused and pointed us in the right direction. I would definitely use this hotel again. "This was my first trip to Venice and the Hotel Cavalletto e Doge Orseolo was a great location for us to explore Venice from. Like most structures in Venice this obviously is an older building, but it is very well maintained and updated. They also had a very good full breakfast buffet included with the room. My only complaint was there was no hot water on our first morning, but they fixed that as soon as we notified them."

"Definitely would choose this location again. The hotel is in a perfect place if you drive to Venice and need to leave the car in those lots the hotel is 3-5 minutes walk. Also you can easily get to San Marco by foot. The hotel staff is very friendly and attentive to all your needs. The rooms are packed with amenities. "

The lounge area in the front of the hotel is super comfy. Murano has a lot of shopping, and once the tourists are gone it is very quiet with still lots to do. "

"I have stayed at Mandarin Oriental hotels in Shanghai , Madrid, and Bangkok, and I have been lucky enough to stay at the Savoy in London. I’m headed to the George the V Four Seasons in Paris to join my wife. Several months ago I stayed at the Four Seasons Budapest. The Baglioni Luna hotel is an absolute jewel , and the price for the service and facilities cannot be beaten. The staff was magnificent as was the included breakfast. It is clearly one of my favorite hotels."
