"Arenal Manoa is absolutely amazing!! The staff is fabulous, they know your name, polite, friendly. The grounds are beautiful, well kept. We stayed in the Chato Suite and it felt like our own private oasis with a breathtaking backyard space, swinging sofa, multiple sitting/laying arrangements around a fabulous pool with perfect views of the Arenal Volcano. Buffett breakfast included, sushi, pizza and restaurant on site, we ordered room service multiple times and received it quick. Spa by the river and multiple natural hot springs on the property, they added some in an adult only zone, all are surrounded and under the lush vegetation on the property and a perfect escape. We also booked RT transportation to/from hotel and 2 tours through them. Arenal Manoa staff know how to make you feel special and cater to your needs. It was a most memorable vacation and we will return! "

"The worst part of the stay was finding the lodge. Our GPS kept going out and there NO signage, not even one sign which I feel is inexcusable. It added on an extra hour and a half to our arrival to the lodge in addition to the frustration factor. But once there, the stay was wonderful. Staff were very helpful-they helped book different activities and book restaurant reservations. The location on the edge of the rainforest was great. The only downside was availability of restaurants-a 30 min drive to the majority of them. That’s the trade off for the location in the forest."

"I would say Lost Iguana Resort was the best part of our stay in Costa Rica compared to other places in Quepos or San Jose. The resort is tucked deep inside the rainforest, this resort offered a serene retreat with stunning rooms and a tranquil ambiance. If you are a bird entusiast, this is one of the nicest places to hear the soothing symphony of bird sounds all through the day. Food was okay, we didnt really like much the dinner options offered inside the resort. Vegetarian items are less and the taste of the food is average. "

"Beautiful property up in the clouds. On clear days you can see the lake. Staff was excellent, front desk was very helpful with recommendations and best ways to see the area. The property is well kept for its age. The major draw back is the road to the property is rough especially at night. There was absolutely no lighting for 2 km until you get up to the property itself"

"We traveled in a group of 19 to Patrick's home for 4 nights over New Years. Patrick and his home exceeded all of our expectations. First of all, his home is beautiful and build very tastefully. Secondly Patrick was an INCREDIBLE host. New Years is a HUGE holiday for our family. Patrick arranged for a private chef to make us a New Years feast. Also Patrick dressed up as Old Man Frost and gave out presents to all of the kids. Each morning, we were greeted by an incredible breakfast made by Patrick's wife. Each breakfast was different and each time super delicious. We have tons of picky kids in our group and they fell in LOVE with breakfast at Patrick's home. I cannot recommend Patrick and this property enough. Each room had its own bathroom which was incredibly convenient. The home is located in a beautiful property where you will truly feel connected with nature but yet close enough to go to a restaurant. Overall, our experience was amazing. I cannot say enough about Patrick's incredible support, assistance, and responsiveness to all of our needs. For reference our group had 10 adults and 9 kids. There was enough space for all of us to fit comfortably in the property. "
