"Overall it was really enjoyable. The hotel was comfortable with great views. Good bed and nice bathrooms with warm water. I was slightly disappointed with the breakfast and would have liked more healthy food options like more fruit variety, nuts, musli, whole grain bread. We were so glad we picked to stay here - the setting is beautiful and it was great to get a better feel of the countryside of Laos rather than just the cities. Perfect place to chill. "Unfortunately, I can't review this hotel. We arrived and they were rebuilding beside and in front of the hotel. There was no parking as advertised. None of this is advertised obviously. After complaining, I was sent to their sister hotel, The Silver Naga, which was very nice. It is a shame hotels do things like this and not advise people."

It is rather far, and tuktuk drivers are trying to charge ridiculous rates (150,000 kip for the 7 km trip!). Make sure you call ahead and arrange pick-up to avoid difficulties when you arrive. "Spent 3 nights at this hotel and it was a great experience. The hotel is on the older side but the room is huge, the ac is cold and the wifi works great. For the price of a fast food meal in the west, what more could you ask for? The best part of the stay is without a doubt the hospitable owner Michael and his wife.
