We didn't need to have a lot of contact with Stephen, but the few times we did he was very responsive and very helpful. The house itself is a historic home, so as another reviewer mentioned, the floors are a bit creaky in spots. But that's the charm of a historic home. The house was really clean and had all the necessities and the host even offered a complimentary bottle of wine. "Returned to Cooperstown for a reunion of friends who spent summers on the lake. The Boathouse was the perfect spot to stay - convenient to town, super comfortable, tremendous views, friendly and helpful owners. Highly recommended!"

"We booked this for our stay during my son’s Dreams Park Tournament. The location was perfect with an easy, quick drive to and from the park and restaurants. The setup was perfect with a master that had its own bathroom for my wife and me and an attached separate bedroom for my other two kids.
