"Unique property. 3rd floor of old stone mill on the stream going through Little Falls turned into bed and breakfast type facility. Rooms are big and nicely done with modern bathroom fixtures, comfortable bed. Sounds travel in the building so pretty easy to hear neighboring conversations. Self-serve breakfast was great as they kitchen was well stocked. Enjoyed being able to look out the window at the stream behind the building at the wintering ducks. Enjoyed out stay."

"Really enjoyed the Victorian ambiance, the intricate woodwork, the period furniture and setup, even the draftyness in the halls at night when it was cold outside. Breakfast was amazing both days, the host (Jim) was kind and generous. We will definitely be staying there again soon."

"First time bed and breakfast experience. Can I tell you, the host Nash was wonderful. We were there for a week long Cooperstown tournament at dreams park. The house is located about 20 minutes from the park but easy to get to. We ate delicious gourmet breakfast everyday compliments of the host. Delicious coffee too! I highly recommend renting the room with beautiful view, If not , you can hang out on deck. Swim, fish etc. Thank you dealrly! "

"While the rooms and furnishings are very nice, the bathrooms we not cleanly or updated. The night I stayed there, the power had gone off and there was no air conditioning and the no water. This could be a nice B&B but the outdoors need to be improved. For starters, they could remove the junk water heater from the front porch."

"Pros: Valerie is a kind host, and the property is in one of the most beautiful areas I have ever stayed. Cons: There is one shared bathroom on the first floor. There is no bathroom in the room, or the one next door which I saw when I found out that the dividing door was not locked. The pillows did not have liners in the pillow cases and were stained so we did not use them. The sheets had other people's hair on them, so we didn't use the cover sheets or blankets. The address said Fort Plain, however it's in town of Danube, outside of St. Johnsville, not even remotely close to FP. Mind the location, as that wasn't a big deal to travel back and forth. "We really enjoyed staying at the apartment. Everything was clean, comfortable, and easily accessible. Coffee, creamer, sugar, and bottled water were a nice surprise. The apartment was walking distance to family, making it the perfect location for our long holiday weekend. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the apartment.
