"Very good clean rooms and very friendly and helpful service. The area nearby is quite lively late at night but the hotel has earplugs in the rooms if needed. Note there is no restaurant or breakfast room. There are good options nearby but you need to wait until after 9am at the weekend "

"Star Lodge is a little way out of the centre of Utrecht but is conveniently located close to a bus line which takes you into the centre in a few minutes. The rooms are relatively basic but are large, clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful, although they did forget to tell us about the honesty bar until we were about to leave. "It was a half hour walk from the train station, which we used to familiarize ourselves with the area. Could have very easily taken a bus, as there is a stop close to the hotel. Our room was on the 2nd level, but due to the set up of the hallways and rooms, we got lost trying to find ours, despite the desk clerk’s instructions. The stairs were very treacherous- narrow steps and spiral-like at the top and bottom, so would not recommend if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage. The bed was two...

"Absolutely stunning hotel we had an incredible stay at the Pulitzer Hotel in Amsterdam. The location is perfect and it’s very close to the Anne Frank house. Each morning, we enjoyed a delightful breakfast with a view of the canals. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to make our experience memorable. In the evenings, we explored the vibrant neighborhood, discovering charming cafes and unique shops. Overall, our time in Amsterdam was enriched by the comfort and hospitality of the Pulitzer."
