"Our stay at Holiday Inn & Suites on Merle Hay Rd. in Des Moines, IA was wonderful. Employees are very accomodating. They had a restaurant connected to the hotel, which we did not go to but was nice to know we could have. Pool is open til midnight and they are very child friendly. Will definitely be coming back next time we travel to Des Moines."

"Great stay overall. Wish I had been told at check-in that our room was right next to the pool. The only “window” looked onto the pool. If there were a lot of kids it did get a little loud as well. The beds were very comfortable and the bacon at breakfast was amazing! The shower was okay, not much pressure. Just a basic shower. Also the bartender at the bar was excellent and very nice! "

"I stayed in this hotel on a trip to watch my son compete at Drake Relays. The hotel was less than 15 minutes from the stadium and everyone from checkin to the restaurant servers to the housekeepers were pleasant and friendly despite the high occupancy. The room was comfortable and I slept soundly each night after spending all day at the track. I would definitely stay here again."
