"Not much on the property to do, the pool was closed still. Exterior being renovated, and had a couple issues with our locks, but the staff took care if those immediately. Interesting to walk through the cemetery next door."

"This was probably one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Yes the rooms are super basic, but the hotel had character unlike anything I’ve seen. It’s sad to think every place built now has no character. Hotels, houses, restaurants everything is cookie cutter. This place was special. And the bartender and front room staff were very personable, and gave great info."

"Great family trip! Riverside was a cute and comfortable little inn. The staff was great and we loved our room. We had a balcony which had a great view of the river. So peaceful. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. I’m heartbroken for this community. So sad this little gem is gone. When they get up and running again we will definitely be back. One of my favorite towns in NC. "
