"We had a great stay there. Was a little surprised how far out it was (45min from Reykjavik), but the drive ended up not being so bad. Nice little town, and very clean facilities!"

"My spouse and I stayed here in early October on a road trip around the South Coast. I'm late with the review but wanted to make sure that I wrote one since we very much enjoyed our stay at Lambastadir Guesthouse! "Cozy wooden cabins in a nice location and a delicious breakfast. One thing to note is that cabins are joined in a longer house and are thus not soundproof - we could hear our fellow travelers talking, snoring, using the bathroom etc. The farm is now building another series of such cabins - perhaps they can take note of this issue especially for bathrooms - not nice to have to listen to your neighbor urinating when you are enjoying a glass of prosecco after relaxing in a nearby spa (Fontana)"

"It has all I need, private bathroom, kitchen. There’s grocery stores nearby. And stuff is very nice and helpful!"

"The room was well thought out and had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and had a great night's rest 😌. Breakfast was not encluded, but there was breakfast available for a cost. "

"Very first time in a hostel type hotel. I booked a room with a 'small bathroom' heads up - that means there's a tiny sink in the room, you still share a shower/bathroom down the hall. Small kitchen to use and 2 bathrooms on the main floor. We got there and used the hot tubs had wine right away after a long day. Bring your own food so we snacked, showered before other guests arrived and made it an early night. It can get a bit noisy with other guests arriving, some making dinner etc. over all we...

"The facility is a little old."

"Stayed her with my wife and son. Wonderful apartment in excellent location near golden circle and southern Iceland attractions. Would recommend it to anyone traveling with a family. "

"Absolutely gorgeous views. Ponies right outside the windows, rolling fields. Lovely hot tub that heated up fast. Clean, peaceful and beautiful. Owner was kind and helpful. Close to Selfoss and Hveragerdi. Close to riding stables. East drive to the crater, the geyser and Gulfoss. Everything we needed was provided. Traveling with our 5 children and everyone was comfortable and happy! Highly recommend! "

"We had a fantastic time here. The cabin was warm, clean and spacious and private with everything we needed to be self sufficient catering-wise. It was fabulous to be able to just step out on the deck to see the Aurora two nights in a row! We'd highly recommend this fabulous accommodation!"

"This is a quaint boutique hotel set by a river with lovely views. We had a full week of adventure, and this was a relaxing spot to end our stay. We enjoyed the hot tubs, sauna, and relaxation room. All were calming and peaceful. We opted for the budget room which was very small (as expected) but sufficient for two people and a couple of pieces of luggage. I would recommend this spot for sure!"

"Absolutely charming, unique accommodations in the Icelandic wilderness. The igloo itself was surprisingly well accommodated, and honestly, the bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept. That heated mattress is something else and it put us in the perfect peaceful spot to watch the magic of the northern lights. Delightful! "

"Localisation époustouflante en pied de montagne et bord de mer. A 2 pas du glacier et des points de rendez vous pour les randonnées et grottes de glace (juste en face de Diamond beach d’ailleurs…) Personnel très sympa et restaurant absolument délicieux offrant une courte assez réduite mais tout fait maison… "
