"It was a cute place. As comfortable as i expected a capsule to be. 1st floor is reception, 2-4 are rooms(with beds, balcony, safe for valuables, toilets and sink area), and 5th floor is lounge with showers, washing machines/dryers, vending machine, microwave, fridge, tv, table, and chairs. All areas were very clean. Towels, detergent, earplugs, slippers and more were sold at reception. Less than 15 minutes walk from the trains and Sensoji Temple. There was some space under the bottom capsule...

"This cozy hostel offers a pleasant stay. We reserved the family room at a price point comparable to a hotel. It did come with the valuable benefit of a private bathroom. However, it lacks some traditional hotel services. "

"Firs time staying at a capsule hotel. Was clean, neat, and quiet. The only thing I didn't like was how firm the beds were. Overall would book again if need a last minute room in a nice quiet area. "

"1 Night ¥1980 Hotel is everything you could ask for and more out of a hotel with the lower nightly rate you pay. The staff were very friendly and accommodating (coming from someone who doesn’t speak nearly any Japanese). The dorm areas had cleaning staff going through everyday ensuring garbages were emptied, bathrooms, floors, etc.., were clean. Only a 5 minutes walk to Iriya station so very easy to get around Tokyo. "Without Google Maps would never have found it. No English signage, entrance looks more like an apartment, entrance in an alley, and front desk is on the top floor. You enter through 2 glass doors into a tiny lobby with 1 elevator with 1 floor button (6). Take shoes off shortly after elevator to arrive at the front desk. NO ENGLISH. An absolutely rubbish experience from both Expedia and first cabin!!! "This is our second stay at this hotel. For our family of four, this hotel is ideal. There is a kitchenette and washer/dryer which allows us to pack lightly since laundry can be done and utilize nearby grocery stores and convenience stores for easy meals. The location is excellent too. "

"Liked the spacious and clean rooms and all amenities provided. Front desk staff was excellent and very accommodating, especially with luggage transfers. I wish they provided room service when I caught a cold and couldn’t join the rest of my family on their excursion. Unfortunately, for the prepaid buffet, my family was not allowed to bring food back up to the room for me (it would have been nice if that was possible). Was disappointed that my husband was sent back up to change his shoes because he wore the room slippers one morning. The staff in the breakfast buffet should be more consistent with this rule as other guest were seen wearing their slippers as well (only makes sense if you’re on a vacation but we understand rules are rules) - we stayed for 7 nights."

"My stay at the APA hotel in Roppongi was awesome! From initial check-in the staff was friendly and helped me through the the steps when I had questions during the self check-in. The TV was actually a great tool that displayed the amenities of the hotel; free movies/ shows, wifi code, where the spa and washers were, times for the restaurant, even tourist info. Everything was clean and all the consumables would get replaced daily with a switching of the linen every 3 days which the TV would remind you of. The hotel is right next to an underground transit line and only a 5 minute walk to the nearest family mart. The at the very top was the pool/ observation area that gives you a good view of the city. The only things I had trouble with were the laundry washers and learning to use a pants press instead of an iron haha, other that I wouldn't mind staying again next time I visit the Tokyo."
