"First of all embracing the amazing jungle view from the river front villa is amazing, also the room is huge and the breakfast is among the best in Bali island. Amy and Sugara are quite professional and they were able to meet all our requirements in a timely fashion. "Hotel was tranquil and reasonably clean. However, outdoor bathroom and gaps in the wooden windows meant there were heaps of mosquitoes even in the hotel room. The toilet which was located outdoors was also often wet during rainy season. Location wise, it was close to a number of tourist spots that our kids enjoyed. However, this also meant prices within the hotel and surroundings can be quite expensive. Overall, the staff were friendly and food was great. Not sure if I would recommend visiting...

"The location is quite close to the center of Ubud. We enjoyed walking to all shops and restaurants after visiting the Monkey Sanctuary which was less than 10 minutes away by foot. You get the Bali city vibe throughout Ubud, but as soon as I walk into Plataran grounds, I'm surrounded by rice fields and high greens. It felt like a sanctuary of its own. Every single staff was friendly and trying to help before I even realized I needed help. It made our Ubud stay a very pleasant one. "
