Quintessential Balinese hospitality. Everyone is kind, friendly, and always smiling. Although on a major thoroughfare of Ubud, just 1 step onto the property is worlds away from the hustle an bustle of the traffic frenzy.

Food served at the restaurant was great and st night there was live music, breakfast was included and was awesome! 20 minutes walking to Obud market. This was by far the best hotel we have experienced in terms of service! The staff is so incredibly kind. The facilities are perfectly maintained and you are taken care of if you need anything at all. The hotel has multiple restaurants around it that are all delicious, the room was spacious and beautiful, and we loved the spa so much that we went multiple times for treatments. Definitely book, you will not regret it!

This hotel is so conveniently located, monkey forest is a four minute walk and so many restaurants are close by. The staff are incredible and the rooms are lovely and huge!!! Can’t fault this hotel.

Even though it was quite a walk to get to our room, it was very beautiful inside and out. We had a nice view from our balcony. The location is perfect and as soon as you leave the front lobby you are on street with tons of little shops and places to eat. The breakfast was good and they had pork bacon. The staff was very kind and also upon checkout they notified me that I left one of my diamond earrings in the room and they quickly brought it to me before I left, which was such a relief. We really enjoyed our stay at Alaya.

Oasis in the chaos of Ubud center.
Superb service. Nice rooms with excellent air conditioning. Breakfast had good choices. Dinner menu of local dishes was not to our taste but there were ample American choices. Walking distance to many restaurants.
