"Sarnai is amazing! From arrival to departure. Easy and smooth. Everything looked clean, cozy, comfortable and provided everything that is needed. It is a great stay in such a beautiful part of the world. It is evident the host has put attention, care and awareness into this place. Everything is great from the vibes, views to the surrounding nature. I particularly like that each room has it's "own name". Sarnai is highly, highly recommended, one of my new favorite places. "

"Our entire stay was nothing short of amazing!!! The host and groundskeeper were so pleasant and immediately make you feel welcomed. The apartment is gorgeous with direct views of the lake. "This room had an AMAZING view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. It is a lakefront property with the room on the lower section facing the water. The bedroom and bathroom had amazing views and the hosts were very communicative for check in and check out. "This is a very nice place to stay in terms of great living room, kitchen and dining. Garden is also quite beautiful aesthetically. The whole property sits next to a busy street which shared the same wall as our bedrooms. We heard motos, tuk tuks and cars all night long... They did provide a fan for each room which was helpful white noise. It does help to shut the bathroom doors so the echoes from the street aren't quite as bad. "

"It is set out as a Luxury apartment but can't really qualify as such. It is nice, but quite noisy as it is right next to a restaurant with live music. Also quite smelly from all the restaurants' grey water just flowing into the lake outside the windows. The bathroom is also very damp with mold on the walls. "Everything was amazing. The reviews for this hotel were very mixed, however our experience was amazing and have no idea why anyone would say anything negative. Our room (#8) was beautiful, the esthetic of the pool was georgeous, the view of Lake Atitlan (feet away) was breathtaking, the staff was kind, friendly (miri and juan..everyone) and everyone always had a smile on their face. The food was great👌. 10/10 i would definitely return and would recommend!"

Incredible stay

"This is absolutely the best and most beautiful place to stay in San Marcos. The vibe is very different from the rest of the town, but personally I was grateful for that. It's a bit pricey of course, but if you're looking for a quiet and beautiful place to spend a day by the pool and enjoy delicious food, this is absolutely the place to go. The staff are lovely, And if you want to go out in San Marcos it's just steps away. Highly recommend! The only thing I feel compelled to add is that the restaurant next door plays music until 10:00 p.m. every night and it definitely feels like it's in your room lol. Made no difference to me because I can fall asleep anywhere, but definitely something to consider if that would be hard for you."

"An excellent location to say especially if we are lucky enough to get one of the rooms higher up which have better views. Although some distance from town, transport is usually available within 10 minutes. Coffee and a small fridge in the room would make the stay even better."

"Pleasant stay, they allowed me to check in early which was wonderful after a long flight and shuttle from Antigua. I was unaware there was a wedding going on while I was there so it was quite loud until early in the morning but I understand that. Overall I enjoyed my stay and thought the town was super cute. Beautiful view of the lake"
