"Very friendly staff and great place for my dog to use the loo. Fridge and microwave were nice to have in the room. Bed had to be one of the most comfortable I've slept on in a while. Very happy with my stay."

"On my way home from Vegas, I decided to take a detour and visit Joshua Tree. I was happy to know that there was a Holiday Inn Express just miles from the North entrance to Joshua Tree. I arrived around 2:00 pm and the gentleman (I think his name is Brian) checked me in a bit early to my surprise and delight. He was very kind, helpful and efficient. "So, I started coming here cuz I had never been to Joshua Tree, the stay is cheap, the place is colorful and private, and I like to get away from the city during the holidays. I’ve now been here many times and I love it. They have recently repainted every unit all the wonderful colors and also repaved the driveway. I appreciate when owners take care of their property. "Good little spot just off the main hwy. Owner/front desk very nice and had paperwork ready when we arrived to check in. Basic motel but everything was neat and clean. Full kitchen but we only used the fridge. I would have given higher score but AC was loud and not adjustable. It was either all the way on or all the way off. Overall a good place to stay. "

"Just a few minutes from the main strip, this little cabin was far enough away to be nice and quiet with hilltop views for stars and sunsets. Throughout our stay we were impressed with the hosts concise communication, including a thoughtful booklet detailing the best spots in town. Unit was clean and simple, and still felt nice and private. Great spot at a great price!"

"Good value motel. Easy to check in, easy to park, good location near the park entrance and grocery stores. My room was very clean but a little bit shabby - the wallpaper was peeling a bit, the amenity space looked to be under construction, etc. Still, good value for what I needed. "

"This home has everything we needed for a 5-day stay to explore Joshua Tree National Park. The patio has a terrific view of the desert and hills in the background. We enjoyed relaxing there to watch the changing shadows on the hills as the sun set. We enjoyed the full moon from the hot tub as well! The owners are very friendly -- communication and check-in were both efficient, and their restaurant suggestion was fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this home to anyone...

"We had a wonderful stay at Desert Haze. It was in close proximity to Joshua Tree National Park, which was our main destination. Each room was beautifully designed and immaculate. The beds were incredibly comfortable! The host was very helpful and always available when we needed him. We highly recommend staying here and if in the area, would stay again ourselves. "
