"We had a great time at the Mickleover. The hotel was well located near Derby with ample parking. What made our stay great was that everything in the room was working properly with a good level of upkeep. The staff were wonderfully engaging and took time to deal with us individually to give us that 5 star treatment."

"My visit to that specific hotel was it was in close proximity to everywhere I needed to travel during my stay. The hotel staff were indeed very polite and helpful. Bearing in mind that the hotel is located right next to the East Midlands Airport. The hotel food and bar prices were terrific given the quality of the produce and wonderful service. The cleanliness of the hotel and room was spotless. I do intend to return later this year and this hotel will be my first choice as to where to stay. "

"It was an amazing experience with the little ones.. Never seen such clean rooms in london till now . Staff was helpful and understanding too which you hardly get anywhere.. We did late checkout request as my toddler was unwell and been to hospital too ,came home in the morning so for her good sleep we requested late checkout and they allowed us with a smile ."

"Overall we had a lovely stay, staff were very helpful and friendly. The room (11) was clean with plenty of toilet roll and body wash. No hairdryer or extra sheets/ pillows which was disappointing. And the decor could do with being updated - ripped wallpaper, stains on cushion covers."

"We had a lovely 2 night stay at Stone House Hotel in one of the garden rooms. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was modern, clean, and spacious, with a lovely big bath and nice toiletries to use (bath/shower gel, shampoo/conditioner, hand wash). Not necessarily negatives, but things to consider: Being in a garden room, we had patio doors out. It was lovely, however meant we didn't have a window to open when it was warm, and we didn't want to leave a door open overnight! Also, to access these rooms you had to go up stairs, and then back down, despite them being on the ground floor. I don't think there was any other access to them. Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice. We had dinner in the Indian restaurant one night, which was also very nice. Stone is a 20 minute walk away, and has some nice places to eat and walks along the canal. We would definitely stay again if in the area."
