What made our stay great was that everything in the room was working properly with a good level of upkeep. The staff were wonderfully engaging and took time to deal with us individually to give us that 5 star treatment."

"My visit to that specific hotel was it was in close proximity to everywhere I needed to travel during my stay. The hotel staff were indeed very polite and helpful. Bearing in mind that the hotel is located right next to the East Midlands Airport. The hotel food and bar prices were terrific given the quality of the produce and wonderful service. The cleanliness of the hotel and room was spotless. I do intend to return later this year and this hotel will be my first choice as to where to stay. "

"Great hotel in the very centre of the town with free parking. Staff were very welcoming. Beware of the wine costs. Make sure you ask for a token for the car park when leaving. Car park is not easy to find. Asked a traffic warden who said it was about 100 yards away but we had to go all the way around the one way system Paid £82 but given a receipt for £67 "

"Close to the train station which was good, but arriving late on a Saturday evening alone, I didn't feel massively safe walking from the station to the hotel on my own as there were a considerable number of intoxicated people getting off the train at Derby as well. "
