"Really lovely ‘get away from everyday life’ holiday. Super helpful and friendly staff (who work so hard), food choices were great and liked how quiet and peaceful the small island is. So relaxing made it very hard to want to do anything! Only tip to add: if you’re a pasty white ‘gringo’, make sure to pack a decent insect repellent as when the wind drops and the sun is out, so are the sand flies. The staff recommend baby oil! Would recommend coming to Shaka Caye in a heartbeat."

"Beautiful property tea with cabanas located right on the ocean. I arrive by ferry from Belize city… And the property sent over a boat for the short trip to the cabanas. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Restaurant menu with limited. I would definitely rebook."
