"We enjoyed staying on the quieter part of the island, while still being able to easily walk and bike to shops and restaurants, etc. The pool was lovely and refreshing. "We spent 2 night here while doing a cave tubing excusion. The location was easy to find with the help of the taxi at the airport. The unit was as pictured and very clean. It is about a 20-30 min walk to the belize sign and restaurants down near the water, on the way there is a grocery store. "The location is amazing. Your own private beach, watching the sunrise. Nice quiet location. Kitchen is well-stocked and the owners had a jug of filtered water, which is much appreciated.Check-in infomration came very late. I needed to download What's app (which I did not already have), so communication was a little chaotic.Also, check out was posted as 11am, the cleaning lady showed up shortly after 9 am, which was not ideal for us.But I would stay here again."

"Great location-10/15 min walk to downtown. Being able to use the neighboring property for the dock was huge plus. The bikes needed more attention(some had flat tires/chains fell off) but nice to have the option instead of having to rent separately . The host met us upon arrival and gave a great intro. The patio furniture is home to some ants, so everytime we sat outside we had a few new bites, so we used the wooden chairs/avoided the cushions. Overall would stay again. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carmen’s Rental in Belize City. It was a great central location to take in local tours from and we felt very safe to walk around the area as well. Easy 10 minute taxi drive to downtown. Carmen was very easy to communicate with and provided recommendations for restaurants, tours and taxi operators."
