"This hotel is basically a hostel and was just ok. The room we booked was on the third level and there was no air conditioning and it was very very hot. It was a short walk to our "guest house" along cobble stone streets but finding the check in counter at another location was difficult for our driver. Room was very bare bones but ok in cleanliness. When moving the side tables to find an outlet to plug in the lights there were some bugs but the windows needed to be open because it was so hot. I...

"This boutique hotel is a former private residence and is absolutely gorgeous. The staff can't do enough for you. The included breakfast is made to order and at 6 in the evening there is a wine & cheese hour, sometimes with entertainment. During our three night stay there was a magician doing some card tricks one evening and a Fado preformance another. The grounds are beautiful too and there's several resident peackocks strutting their stuff. I have no hesitation recommending this gem of a place."

"Very cute! Just like in the pictures. And the basement apartment was huge! Shower had great water pressure & hot water. Wish we could stay more than 1 night. I don’t understand how people do Sintra as a day trip from Lisbon, an over night stay was a must. Ubers/Bolts can’t get to the property, but they get you to about a 3 minute walk… but there’s a lot of stairs in the way, plus luggage, just be aware. "The best place if you want to visit Quinta da Regaleira, Pena Palace and Moorish Castle. Steps away from restaurants and shops. The bus stop is right next to the hotel. The service received was the best of all the hotels visited in Portugal. They helped us with everything, from before we arrived with specific instructions. The breakfast was very good. "Amazing place to stay near Sintra in a quiet area, amazing garden. The hotel has a pool table, a little kids area, electric bike rental. The breakfast was very convenient. The rooms are spacious, a little bit old but very clean. We stayed with our 3 kids and we found the place very kids friendly. There is no restaurant on site but there is a grocery near the hotel and the staff can heat your meal with pleasure. "

"The location was good not to noisy or busy. Didn't realise it was right next to Benfica stadium and there were a couple of matches on while we were there. Bathroom was knackered, sink area needs replacing as water damaged over a long period of time. One dishwasher tab provided and a tea towel. No oven gloves or and other kitchen cleaning stuff.
