"The property is a unique retreat right on the lake with a private boat dock available for our rental. It was perfect for our needs. We had a glorious time, even making smores over an outdoor fire. The property owner/manager went above and beyond to communicate with us. We did not lack for any information and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. I would certainly recommend this quiet property to enjoy the beautiful Watauga Lake and area. "

"Mountain Inn & Suites is a nice little hotel in Erwin TN. The same Erwin TN that just got wiped out from hurricane Helene flooding. Hotels.com refuse to give me a refund even though they have received photos of the entire hotel in shambles with nothing but piles of debris all around it. They are not and were not open. I could not call the hotel and reschedule. But Hotels.com says they cannot refund me even though the hotel was closed and halfway underwater. Hotels.com is a complete scam. I would...

"Really very nice all around. Checked in 2.5 hours early no problem. Staff delightful. Parking easy. Building easy to find. Spacious room. Lovely pool and Soaking Tub. Very comfy beds. Incredible shower water pressure! No noise in the halls or through the walls. Very nice breakfast. Cons: Pull out is the old fashion type. Coffee in room was awful. "
