Shower set up is illegally with dirty shower water going directly onto the forest floor, an environmental hazard. Entire area was dirty and porta potty was full. "This room is perfect for someone who is traveling or needs to stay the night on passerby travel. Very simplistic, but as long as you’re okay with minimals, it’s worth it. The host is very kind and helpful. The only thing (I’m sure you can ask if you need to) is first pulling up to the room, it’s a little further back down the driveway on the right. Other than that, perfect."

"We enjoyed our stay very much. If it had been warm enough to enjoy all of our meals outside that would have been wonderful. We didn’t plan or pack for any rain but when it poured for a solid day, we were thankful for the cabin’s shelter and wifi and umbrella when we went out. "This cottage was a pleasant change from the bustle of Bar Harbor. Although its small and cozy, it had what we needed for a short term stay. Barring a few check-in inconveniences, it was comfortable and we especially enjoyed the firepit that we spent time at after a long Acadia Park hiking adventure."

"Short two night stay on a girls' trip to explore Acadia and Bar Harbor. This was the perfect place for the 3 of us. Well-located, well-appointed, good space and comfy beds. The trail to the beach was a great bonus. I would highly recommend to others looking for a affordable option close to all the amenities but slightly out of the hustle and bustle."
