"Hotel Santa Maria is an excellent property to stay in Trastevere. All tourist attractions are with 30 minutes walk with lots of dining options from outside the facility. Great place to walk around in and very safe. The staff is very friendly and treats you like family not as a guest. Will definitely go back to Hotel Santa Maria. Don't let the graffiti in the neighborhood fool you...it is in a great location where there are lots of places to dine as soon as you walk out. The rooms are clean...

"Great location 10 minutes walk to the Vatican and 25 minutes to the forum. Peaceful location. I’m sure it’s great in summer. Room was OK but bathroom set up is strange - shower almost in the bath. Could do with some updating of the rooms - not quite up to modern standards. All felt a bit not quite there. Staff were excellent and helpful and friendly. Good breakfast buffet. I’d go back. "
