"The staff were very friendly and helpful. Ms Izumi provided detailed instructions during the check-in procedure. The onsen facilities were excellent - exactly what we needed to relax and enjoy the amazing surroundings. The kaiseki dinner on the 1st night and the Kobe beef on the 2nd night were excellent. We would definitely return to stay."

"Arima Onsen Motoyu Kosenkaku is known as “La Fontine / The Lodge Arima Resort” in English. The property is located in the outskirts of the main village of Arima and is about 25 minutes on foot up a hill. Travellers with mobility issues may find this property difficult to access unless prior transport is arranged with hotel reception staff. We stayed overnight in a standard Japanese-style room. "I usually don't review stays, but i had to for this Ryokan Yamazaki! The property is clean, quiet, beautiful and peaceful. Above all, the service we received was outstanding. The staff are very kind and patient. They were very understanding with foreigners as well, and explained everything we needed. I was very sick to my stomach when i arrived, due to motion sickness. My husband went to ask for directions to a pharmacy, and the staff drove him there personally and helped him pick out medicine!...

"We stayed in a room with a private onsen and it was probably the highlight of our entire trip. Everything was conveniently around our stay as well which made it very convenient to walk for food or shopping. The staff was also incredibly helpful and friendly! I recommend this stay 10/10."

"The views were amazing. A perfect position to watch the sunset and sunrise over Osaka and Mino'o forest. The hospitality of the staff was so kind in a way I've never experienced before, they felt very heartwarming and welcoming. I will definitely cherish the memory for the rest of my life and recommend this place to friends and family."

"This is the traditional Japanese onsen hotel The breakfast was great Many Japanese style food along breads, pasta , sausage The onsen is awesome Staff speaks English They have shuttle pick up from jr station and they even drove us to bus station when we requested it "

"This ryokan style property served as a sanctuary for a night. The futons were comfortable. We slept very well to the sound of the rushing river and chirping crickets. It is walking distance to shops and restaurants. We will come back again in the near future."

"The hotel is very clean and even has washing machine and cooking utensils. The night before we left, we bought the food ingredients from supermarket and cooked. The beef was super delicious!"
