However the bathroom was icy cold with no form of heating, the hot water tap wasn't much more than a dribble and the shower very dangerous as it went from scalding to freezing with only the tiniest touch on the dial. My husband warned me not to use it."

"One night stay, late arrival early checkout. Great place, nice cozy pub downstairs - had tagliatelle which was good. Room comfy, warm, great, lovely bed. Nice toiletries, amenities. Left too early for breakfast but knew it would've been good just from the feel of the place. Decided to check out early doors, visit some places for work then come back at 9am for the breakfast (included). Correct decision, it was amazing. Nothing against the normal run of the mill chain pubs I tend to stay in...

"Comfortable room, though not large, with en-suite and a really comfortable bed. We were welcomed on arrival and helped upstairs with our luggage. We had key to come and go as we pleased and visited different places each day. Only one wet day, otherwise warm and sunny - good for October. Mostly came back to eat dinner at the Inn - food was delicious. Excellent breakfasts too. Staff did everything possible to make it a good holiday for us. Many thanks! "

"10/10 A perfect little gem close to the centre and a stones throw to Penlee Park which is the perfect place to walk if you have a dog. Alec and Serena are such lovely hosts , kind , helpful and generous allowing guests to share their beautiful garden. The flat is spotless and comfortable and very much home from home. Highly recommended We shall definitely return. A super find"
