"My family and I went up mid week and stayed through the weekend during a storm early March. The owner is incredibly responsive and has very good knowledge of the area including local road crews, law enforcement, etc. Whoch made me much more comfortable driving up in the winter storm. Check in process was by far the easiest and most simple ever- great job on that! Home is spacious offering lots of room for active toddlers and offering lots of comforts for inactive teenagers. Bedrooms are large and very comfortable beds along with a beautiful fireplace and kitchen equipped with everything you may need! Hot tub is fabulous, especially after a day of sledding- which we did right at the house! Perfect side hill for sleds! The neighborhood is quite full of nice people offering a hello and quick conversation when you are on your walk. Town has an adorable general store that is stocked of organic and non organic produce, cheese, meats, desserts, wine and spices, books and Markleeville Swag! My family cannot wait to stay there again, great home, amenities & location! "
