"We chose the Mest Hotel for a four day trip to Istanbul, partly because of the location as it was centrally located close to the tourist attractions, and partly because of the attractiveness of the property and the rooms. We selected a Loft Suite because the price was really low, and we were very pleased with the room. The photos are accurate and the room was very comfortable, especially the bed. The bathroom was small but it's an old building, so there's not much that could be done about that....

"A bit grungey. The place smelled. I asked the property if I had a smoking room and was shocked when they said ‘no smoking allowed’ because it smelled like smoke. Breakfast was ok. Price should be a little lower. The bed had some black hairs on it (I’m blonde). Beware the restaurant. I had lunch without looking at the prices and ordered rice, a sausage, and beans and it cost me 150 Lyra. Usually this costs around 60 or 70. "
