"All 8 of us and the dog were extremely comfortable and soothed by the beauty of this house and its comfort. Awakening to the sun rising over the ridge behind the trees was a special treat. Everything was well equipped and maintained. We cooked a full Thanksgiving dinner and several other meals for the whole family! And the home's flow and set up allowed for family games and my husband's BIG birthday celebration...room to be together or to enjoy the view or walk around the area. Sooo many birds and deer! Our grandson is ready to come back with his friends in the summer since they all like to go fishing."

"Very nice and cozy.. Mattress is a little wore out woke up with back pains both days... Tripod was broken so we couldn't set it up.. But very nice place very clean. Would stay here again hopefully a mattress upgrade is in the near future.."

"Loved the fabulous decks the overlooks the lake Lots of chairs to sit on and enjoy the view. Dock was good with paddle board, kayaks, and canoe. 4 adult life jackets available for use. Inside: Lots of room for family to spread out. We loved the huge dining room table and chairs with backs on them to enjoy the food and the view. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking bowls, pots, and gadgets and all appliances worked well. Having several living areas, game room, sunroom and extra table for puzzles and games allowed everyone to have enough room for various activities. Beds were comfy and bathrooms were clean. Just a few additional details: Driveway is steep. If you have mobility issues, the driveway may be difficult to walk up to the street. There is room for 4 cars to park at the bottom of the driveway- next to the house. Also, Trash pickup service was not available We had to take our trash to the dump which was 10 minutes (one way) from the house. Also, I had to spend the first hour after arrival removing the leaves from the walkways, stairs and decks to prevent guests from slipping on the leaves. It was disappointing that the rental agency hadn’t done this prior to our arrival. It gave a poor first impression. Overall the house is a fantastic rental and all of our family members were very happy with our week on the lake. I highly recommend this property for any family reunion "

"My sister and I have an ongoing Thanksgiving tradition to get together on Thanksgiving weekend with our husbands. She lives in South Carolina and we live in Pennsylvania so Huddleston is almost the exact middle for both of us. My husband came across this cabin last minute and it could not have been more prefrontal suit our needs. I only wish it was warmer but we were quite content just hanging out and staying warm by the indoor fireplace. We will definitely be returning in the summer so that we can take advantage of the outdoor offerings. Great memories were made by all. "

"This is a lovely house and property on Witcher Creek. The backyard leads down to the dock and fishing there is so much fun! The house is very well kept and offers enough space for multigenerational families. You can see deer from the kitchen sink and at night there are so many stars! Some shooting stars too! The town of Moneta had some great offerings if you want but getting local.honey and local beef were some hoghlights. Overall this is a great retreat to get out of town and recharge! Donna is a great host and very quick to respond. A great trip! "
