"Stayed here for a getaway after the holidays. Beautiful cabin, clean with all the amenities. We really enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and fishing from the dock - caught a couple nice sized catfish. Hosts were readily available for any questions or minor issues. Will look to stay here again. "

"This is the second year staying in this house for Thanksgiving. It is perfect for our family. There are plenty of bedrooms and spaces to hang out. The main kitchen is a dream to cook in. Having a second kitchen in the basement is perfect for those things that take a long time to cook as well as the extra counter prep space and fridge. The dining table fits everyone so we can all relax and enjoy our meal together. The view of the lake is fantastic and the patio makes it a lovely space to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. On clear nights there is minimal ambient light so perfect for stargazing. The owner was very responsive to communications with a couple minor issues we had. He was very friendly and helpful. We look forward to spending future Thanksgivings here when possible. "

" First and foremost, the location is truly beautiful and picturesque, situated approximately 100 feet from the dock, which does require a short walk. The house itself was clean and well-equipped with sufficient amenities for guests. However, I encountered some discrepancies regarding the check-in process. The information provided in the listing indicated that a physical key would be available in a lockbox; however, I discovered that entry is actually via a touchpad. This led to some confusion and a significant amount of time spent searching for the key. I recommend updating the listing to clarify this aspect for future guests. Additionally, the advertisement mentioned access to the on-site club amenities . Upon further inquiry with the management company, I learned that this access is not available. I have advised the management team to revise the listing to avoid any potential misunderstandings. On a positive note, I want to commend the management company for their assistance. I requested an early check-in to enjoy the lake view before sunset, and they graciously accommodated my request. I greatly appreciate their responsiveness and support. I would also like to mention that guests are responsible for disposing of their trash, as there is no on-site pickup. The nearest dumpster is approximately a nine-minute drive away, which may be worth noting for future guests. Overall, my stay was pleasant, and I found the house to be clean and comfortable. "

"We needed a place to stay while our addition was being completed. Stayed at SML for a week. It was a great house with a very nice view of the water. The kitchen and home are very well-appointed. It was a perfect respite week away from construction."

"This property is one of the very best I have rented at SML. The fenced in backyard and easy access to the dock are especially nice if you have dogs, and don’t like to climb steep hills to get from the dock back to the house. The house is very nice, and well equipped with just about anything you need. Unlike most rentals, they actually supply paper towels, TP, soaps, and detergents. Sheets and towels are also included, and to my pleasant surprise-after a long drive, and shopping the first day, you find the beds are already made! Highly recommend this place! "
