The amenities were great, from the indoor heated pool and hot tub to the property itself with beautiful views, a great balcony with dining space, and a relaxing and clean screen porch. The house was so calming and peaceful. It was accessible very easily from the parking lot right outside the door. The space was cozy, well-decorated, and clean. The hosts were very good at communicating and quickly answering any questions! We hope to come back during the summer and enjoy the lake and outdoor pools, but this was the perfect place for our winter getaway! You won’t regret booking here!"

"Stayed here for a getaway after the holidays. Beautiful cabin, clean with all the amenities. We really enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and fishing from the dock - caught a couple nice sized catfish. Hosts were readily available for any questions or minor issues. Will look to stay here again. "

"My sister and I have an ongoing Thanksgiving tradition to get together on Thanksgiving weekend with our husbands. She lives in South Carolina and we live in Pennsylvania so Huddleston is almost the exact middle for both of us. My husband came across this cabin last minute and it could not have been more prefrontal suit our needs. I only wish it was warmer but we were quite content just hanging out and staying warm by the indoor fireplace. We will definitely be returning in the summer so that we can take advantage of the outdoor offerings. Great memories were made by all. "

"This is the second year staying in this house for Thanksgiving. It is perfect for our family. There are plenty of bedrooms and spaces to hang out. The main kitchen is a dream to cook in. Having a second kitchen in the basement is perfect for those things that take a long time to cook as well as the extra counter prep space and fridge. The dining table fits everyone so we can all relax and enjoy our meal together. The view of the lake is fantastic and the patio makes it a lovely space to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. On clear nights there is minimal ambient light so perfect for stargazing. The owner was very responsive to communications with a couple minor issues we had. He was very friendly and helpful. We look forward to spending future Thanksgivings here when possible. "

"This was the perfect mountain lake house for our group of friends to getaway, enjoy the fall weather, relax and play games! The house had a fabulous setup in the kitchen and downstairs for the group to hangout and cook or watch TV. We def will be back! "

The house itself was clean and well-equipped with sufficient amenities for guests. However, I encountered some discrepancies regarding the check-in process. The information provided in the listing indicated that a physical key would be available in a lockbox; however, I discovered that entry is actually via a touchpad. This led to some confusion and a significant amount of time spent searching for the key. I recommend updating the listing to clarify this aspect for future guests. Additionally, the advertisement mentioned access to the on-site club amenities . Upon further inquiry with the management company, I learned that this access is not available. I have advised the management team to revise the listing to avoid any potential misunderstandings. On a positive note, I want to commend the management company for their assistance. I requested an early check-in to enjoy the lake view before sunset, and they graciously accommodated my request. I greatly appreciate their responsiveness and support. I would also like to mention that guests are responsible for disposing of their trash, as there is no on-site pickup. The nearest dumpster is approximately a nine-minute drive away, which may be worth noting for future guests. Overall, my stay was pleasant, and I found the house to be clean and comfortable. "
