"We had a great destress weekend at the cabin!! It was right off the water! It was beautiful! The cabin was so clean and I was fascinated at the history of it!! The host thought of everything!!!"

"The property was just what I needed. I was taking a short stay because I lost my husband of 49 years in Sept. I need some time and some quite away for a few days. The family members only stayed a night and day. They also enjoyed the place. Thinking of making reservations for next year. it was clean a few things were not working and of course there was some critter droppings but that can be expected in any house. cleaning company needs to inspect a little closer when cleaning and put something down."

"We had such a wonderful time during our stay here and enjoyed every moment. We are so grateful to the hosts for working with us during an emergency situation in the fall (Hurricane Helene) when they so generously rescheduled our trip. Although I'm sure we would have loved the fall colors, the spring was just as beautiful. I didn't even know this was a golfing community when I booked this stay, but it made our visit even more enjoyable. Neither of us is a golfer but we enjoyed watching them and seeing them everywhere! I also sent pictures to my golfing family members.The home is beautifully and comfortably furnished and had all we needed. (I do recommend for future visitors that you bring your coffee K-cups if you like strong coffee.) We loved sitting on the deck over the lake and spent quite a bit of time there. We also took a little trip to Smith Mountain Lake State Park, right nearby. We plan to come again!"

"My husband and I love this condo so much! The decor is beautiful and the condo is so spacious. My husband's favorite part was the fireplace; it kept us so cozy! Aside from the condo, we enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub, but my favorite part of the trip was Bruno's! It's literally 2 minutes from the condo and the food is amazing! We had Valentine's dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed the best crab cakes and shrimp scampi we've ever eaten. We liked it so much that we ordered brunch and dinner the following day to pick up and enjoy by the fire in the condo. We definitely recommend staying here and if you're able to, eat at Bruno's! "

"Stayed here for a getaway after the holidays. Beautiful cabin, clean with all the amenities. We really enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and fishing from the dock - caught a couple nice sized catfish. Hosts were readily available for any questions or minor issues. Will look to stay here again. "
