"Yes, it was a little out of the ordinary, but that's a good thing! Easiest "camping" experience you'll ever have. Your own private (new, flush) commode, kitchen, and huge shower! A/c and heat in the camper. What more could you want? Definitely an adventure in the hills of eastern Virginia."

"I specialize in the identification and removal of mold and other hazardous materials in hospitals and sensitive areas. There was visible mold, active leaks, and the smell of mildew throughout. The pictures were very misleading. The real problem here is we were visiting the area for an industry event (healthcare construction) and I brought a representative from a local healthcare facility who just so happened to be immunocompromised and battling cancer. Thats not a good look. I won't stay here...

Cabin is in a secluded area with only a couple cabins near it, nice and quiet, but close to fishing, tubing, restraurants and shopping for the girls. "The a frame is great! It was big enough for me and my husband pretty comfortably, the views are great, it is on top of the mountain and so quiet at night! Bed is comfortable, they provided everything we needed. It is off the beaten path for sure and I would highly suggest all wheel drive, do not try this in your honda civic. The owner forgot to send check in instructions, but there was just a major hurricane a few weeks ago and that has to be stressful, so it was no biggie. He answered...

"We love the cabin and would definitely stay there again. It’s easy to find with GPS and the area is quiet. It is within a reasonable distance from Boone and other attractions. "

"What a neat little cabin. The host was extremely timely in answering all the questions. This is nestled on a dirt road; it does have cabins close by. The place was super clean! all the amenities you need for cooking, the washer was inoperable, but who wants to do laundry:) There was no dishcloth or scrubber for dishes, but we made do. If you are looking for scenic roads and beautiful mountains up to the cabin, this is an awesome drive. There are no views from this cabin, other than the trees,...

"I loved relaxing in the room overlooking the stream and yard. All the essentials were provided, and a dessert was left for the humans, and treats were also provided for the dog. If you're looking for a peaceful and quiet getaway with no noise or distractions, this place is perfect. "
