"Loved the little town of blowing rock we stayed inn. Mountainaire inn pretty room was good for 2 people. Only thing is we wish we had a fridge n microwave Loved being able to walk around town to eat, look around and shopping. Also had a great bike ride up in Boone."

The staff was very welcoming and friendly, the hotel was in a great location near wonderful restaurants and shops, and our room was clean and felt safe. "We really enjoyed our stay. The people are very nice. Our hotel room felt like a cabin. Refrigerator, microwave, television, whirlpool bath, hot water, everything worked. The towels and wash rags were a little flimsy, and the floor might have been vacuumed a teeny bit better, but for the rustic feel, everything was very nice. We would definitely come back. 4-wheel drive is a very good idea!"

"Very close to shopping and restaurants and bars. Parking on site and had an open fire pit (gas) on site. The hosts gave us great recommendations for breakfast, lunch and dinner! They were all very good!!! All places are walkable so that made the location perfect!"
