"The stay was amazing! The view was fantastic and the room was perfect size! The lodge had all of the amenities one could ask for! The on-site spa and restaurant were amazing, the pool and the hot tub were amazing. Only complain I would have were the pillows. My wife and I went for a couple day getaway from our kids. The bed and everything was amazing, the pillows were those long tube-like pillows. In order to sleep well, we had to double up the pillows. Other than that, the stay was fantastic."

"This condo was perfect for us. We came to the area to tour Appalachian State and ski Sugar Mtn, and it was located halfway between both. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms were comfortable. The view was very pretty. "

"Stayed during weekend trip. House was very nice. A bit further from Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk than we expected, but still only about 15 minutes from Boone. Nowhere closer to grab groceries that we saw. House could use a good "spring cleaning" and some maintenance but overall very nice. "Great hotel. Very quiet but in very close proximity to App State. Attentive and friendly staff and cleanliness was impeccable. Rooms are oversized and comfortable. The only con was the pillows; not comfortable from my daughter's and my perspectives. But we would stay again, given all the positives!"

"Cute, clean, quiet, comfortable and had everything we needed. Great location, great price. Would totally stay here again. FYI- it is a motel-type inn where the doors open to the outside, but there are cute rocking chairs right outside the door and it’s in downtown Blowing Rock which is quaint and walkable."
