"Nice property with a great location. Cabin is on the river and you can walk to town. Cabin was clean. It was very cold while we were there and the property manager reached out to us to make sure we knew this before making the drive. Very much appreciated. We enjoyed our stay. "

"Cute, cozy, cabin! The bed was so comfortable! The cabin had everything we needed. The furnished covered front porch was a plus even though it was so cold, we bundled up and sat out there just listening to the peace and quiet of the night. The town of Helen was still decorated for Christmas and it was beautiful! We’d love to come back to experience Helen in the summer or fall. Taddwas very gracious in making sure we had what we needed. We would definitely go back to stay at the same cabin. "

"We spent the week of Christmas here and had a great time! While other cabins we've stayed in at Christmas were decorated, this one was not but we brought all our presents so it still felt festive. I would however, highly recommend not arriving after dark as we did! We drove from Mississippi and had about a 7 hour drive. Traffic was very bad coming thru Atlanta which put us behind. We had a hard time finding the cabin in the dark - but that was our fault! Would've been a breeze driving to it...

"The cabin was clean and tidy, everything worked except for the hot tub, which was disappointing as the hot tub was one of the reasons we had booked the cabin. The owners called for a repair but it was a holiday weekend and I don’t think a repair was feasible due to the holiday."

"River Retreat was a great stay. Beds were comfortable, cabin was cozy, and conveniently located. The kitchen was not well stocked and the upstairs TV wouldn’t work throughout our trip. Everything else was great!"

"My husband and I stayed here for a week for our anniversary. The home was just the right size and well maintained. Hot tub was nice and so was the tub in the bedroom. The road coming in was pretty rough but our vehicle managed it well. "
