"Carlos is a terrific host who went out of his way to be helpful: arranged our airport pickup and helped in departure, offered to move us to a different room if street noise (he's near Merida's main plaza downtown) bothered us, had lots of helpful advice. And did everything with cheerful charm and in pretty good English! All in all, a good place, good price, lots of nearby attractions in an exciting city."

"This boutique is a block or so from Paseo de Montejo. My favorite street in Merida. GREAT location. Walkable to everything. Tons of restaurants. Nelson, the manager, was so welcoming, hospitable, helpful, thorough and highly communicative. It’s a lovely, quirky layout that worked perfectly for me. Definitely one of my favorite places now. "My husband and I had a great stay at the Toledo House. The house itself is perfect. Everything we needed. There is a water filter on the kitchen faucet. Towels for the shower and towels for the pool. There was even a hairdryer and an iron. The back patio/pool area was dreamy. I wished I had more time to just relax back there. "We really enjoyed it! Easy to find. Easy check in. Pool right out our 2 bdrm ‘villa’. Great outdoor seating area. Quiet. Lovely dogs and I miss them! Kitchen could have more utensils, oven mitts, small plates, small bowls,better microwave, kettle, things like that but it was fine. Had to pay extra for use of a bbq even though we brought our own charcoal. Pool was lovely. We found great restaurants near by. Easy to get to highways. Try the ceviche place near by. "
