"I have no idea how this place has such high ratings. Although initially the check in clerk was kind and somewhat helpful, my stay at this hostel was disgustingly bad. I opted for a private room which was actually not even close to what the misleading ad boasted. It was very hot with no thermostat to adjust the temperature and it was also very dirty. "What was suppose to be our planned BD escape turned out to be Our Milton Retreat and savior to enjoy Beautiful weather and adventure. Close to everything… really enjoyed Rock City and various walks/ hikes around with our pup. The house was welcoming and relaxing! The kitchen was on point between the Keurig and pans which are key for me as the cook. The pups Loved the back yard and the cool evenings. "My daughter and I were in town for her birthday and to visit UTC. We enjoyed the sights - Aquarium, Rock City, UTC, Naughty Cat Cafe. The room was quaint, clean, and cool. The front desk was super friendly and efficient. We ended napping in the afternoon, but did not actually stay the night due to my daughter feeling ill and wanting to go home. Recommend if you're on a budget."
