"The house is lovely. Great neighbourhood. Close walk to the shops and bars or the waterfront. Parking was a bit challenging. Staff super friendly and helpful. Really good continental breakfast. "

"Check-in with easy; my key, receipt, and instructions for my stay were in an envelope on a table in the entryway when I arrived. The common space and my room were very clean and generally very quiet, although some of the other guests were occasionally loud going up and down the stairs. The bed was not particularly comfortable, and the room was way too hot – I wound up having to open windows. Other than those two issues, I liked the place and would stay there again."

"The house was so cozy and comfortable. We used some of the extra rooms. The breakfast was outstanding. I was disappointed in the bed. Not the greatest, IMO."

"Our favourite Canadian experience yet. A last minute booking as we started to get tired on our drive, the owners responded to our email promptly and gave us self check in instructions. The room was spotless and silent, shower amazing and the bed was our best nights sleep! The breakfast is just brilliant, we had been in Canada for 4 days and not had a single good breakfast so we were so grateful for such a wonderful fresh spread and wonderful hosts. We’ve already said we will definitely come...

"The Hart House is a beautiful property with a lot of history that our host and proprietor, Jamie, has a passion to tell its story. My bedroom was gorgeous and we had an incredible sleep. The food was delicious and plentiful. Communication with Jamie was stellar. I would love to return next summer. "

"Quiet, clean and beautiful. Worth the stay!"

"We had a big group of 14 people and booked this property on Howe Island. The location was great. It was quite, remote and peaceful, just what we were looking for. The hosts, Courtney and Chris along with their kids were very hospitable and did a great job of hosting us. Would definitely consider this place again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great getaway!"

"If you want a change of environment, in a place with all the comforts and nature, this is the place, the host family very friendly and resolute. The boat trip is completely recommended. Next summer I will surely return."
