"We really enjoyed the unit and our time in Rapid City. A couple of suggestions: (i) A toaster would be nice. A rental option such as the Sojourn appears to comtemplate affording users the option to eat breakfast “in” and a toaster would enhance the experience. (ii) Appreciated the AC in the living room / kitchen but man is it loud! Despite approaching 100 degrees F outside, sleeping was comfortable. (Iiii) Sofa ia a quite saggy. "Cabin was perfect for our family (including our dog) when visiting Mt. Rushmore. It was clean and cozy and came well equipped. The owners, who live on the property, are very friendly. It’s worth noting they do want your dog crated when you’re not there, so we just took our dog with us on outings. "

"We took our dog along for his first travel experience and selected this property for our weekend in Sioux Falls because of the dog-friendly amenities. It did not disappoint! Cozy and clean, the apartment was just what we needed for our brief stay. It is close to a lot of other central locations in the city and the neighborhood was perfect for a dog-walk or two. Recommend and will likely stay here again."

"GREAT location to *RUSH- LESS * very close to Mt. Rushmore and Custer State park - right down the hill (a block) was Big Thunder Gold Mine and Haleys General Store ..staying in historic area where Carrie Ingalls taught school and being my neice who came along lives in Walnut Grove where the Ingalls called home along plum creek it was extea neat. "This was an unexpected stay and worked out well. Due to a family emergency, we needed a place close to the hospital (two blocks away) and within walking distance to local businesses and eatery for convenience. Overall, the neighborhood was very quiet with no problems.Our stay lasted several weeks during the cold winter and the hosts made sure that the areas around the property were cleared of snow and that is a must! "The room was a little too hot for us old folks, but we managed. I was concerned when we got there and heard dogs barking in the room above us, but after that initial barking, they were quiet. I think they were just greeting us! The location was perfect for where we needed to go. Would definitely stay there again! Hope to next year! "

"This property was perfect for our stay. Very clean, conveniently located close to downtown Spearfish, and well thought out. Great beds and pillows, fully stocked kitchen including spices and a full range of items that made our stay seamless. Check in was simple, communication was clear and designated parking was a plus.
