"The room was spacious, a bit dated but the bathroom was exactly as the pictured showed - luxurious! The balcony on the waterfront is so pretty although there is not much of a view of the city. The staff are so polite and accommodating. The breakfast was one of my favourites! And the Saigon restaurant staff and staff at the Italian restaurant treated you like kings and queens, thank you to the lovely staff who served us."

"The property is at the heart of old quarter of Hanoi city which was the best thing, plenty of shopping and eating places nearby. However, the room was a but small and the lights were very dim in the room which was problematic. The staff were friendly and the checkin was smooth. Overall a nice stay at a good location."

"Great location, close to Beer street and Hoan Kiem Lake. Good breakfast and the staff were very helpful. The room has no outside window, the “window” looks into a interior atrium. The weekend night market is located on the same street as the hotel. Overall a great hotel in the heart of Hanoi. "

"Excellent location for Old Quarter. Close to everything including the lake, night market, bars and places to eat. Old traditional design and cute. Staff is helpful and nice. I even have to cancel one night last minute because of visa issue and they have been accommodating. This would have been a 5-star review but two things really need attention. 1. There is nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom. Very odd that there is no bar/hooks in the bathroom. Have to bring towels to hang in the closet...

"The property is near a lake which was the best thing. It has all the required amenities many advance facilities like game room, golf area and wide area pool near to the lake. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast was fulfilling. The staff were really helpful and kind. If you need a good property near the west lake in Vietnam, this is the place."
