"Host, Salvos, was a real asset. We had a dreadful start to our holiday with a five hour flight delay and as a result our car hire vehicles were rented out to others. Salvos helped us - a party of eight - get to the villa. Nothing was too much trouble. He loaned us his car so we could do a supermarket shop. He was the perfect host. "I had been looking at several villas in the area, but when I saw this one, I knew it was the one I wanted, however in the Vrbo brochure it says it is a short walk to the church, but it is a 15 minute drive, apart from that it looked good. On arrival I was greeted by Salvo who was lovely, his English was not great, but I am trying to learn Italian so it was good practice for me. The villa was even better than it looked. A good size pool along with excellent accommodation, and plenty of Bathrooms...

"We enjoyed our stay in the area. Lots of beautiful countryside and the sea in the distance. the house was great for two couples. You should be aware that a car is essential as there is nothing within walking distance. The coast is 10km down hairpin bends, hence the view! Avola and the surrounding area is lovely, much to see and many beautiful towns and villages. The need to get in the car everytime is a disadvantage, especially in the evenings."

"What a lovely property! Very clean and comfortable. Very helpful owners, who ensured that the pool remained in perfect condition for our stay. The location necessitates hiring a car. We had a perfect combination of sightseeing, and relaxing by the pool...... The pool was used at all times of day and evening by three teenagers. Small improvements include providing clear instructions, for example for the recycling and rubbish, or for feeding the animals....oh and a few more pillows would have...

"The villa is situated on a quiet road within walking distance of the lovely Fontain Bianche beach. The infinity pool is the highlight of the property and is edged with banana trees…..just beware of mosquitos. It is clean and well equipped for a perfect and peaceful holiday.
