"The house is spacious and comfortable, situated in a quiet but convenient area. Avola is 5 minutes away, the motorway linking Messina, Catania, Siracusa and Gela is also a few minutes drive from the house.A car is essential. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. If we had a problem they responded immediately. As for this area of Sicily there is lots to do. Beach lovers are well catered for and there are plenty of possibilities for hikers. "Everything about our stay was terrific. The staff were extremely helpful, especially Sabrina. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast was very tasty. Ortigia is an ideal place to stay, easily accessible to sites in Siracusa. We would definitely love to return "
