"Ortigia in November was magical and this suite is meticulous. Every detail was thought of. Enjoying wine while sitting on the balcony wrapped up the nights perfectly. The host helped us with additional travel questions when I had emails in Italian I couldn’t make sense of. Her recommendations abound… we are hesitant to share how perfect this was in the “off” season as we want to save it for ourselves."

"Generously sized and clean apartment a short walk from the sea. Vencenza was very friendly and welcoming and kindly met us late on the day of arrival due to delay with our flights. "This is a small house with good, basic facilities and a really great roof terrace. Some safety issues: the bathroom light has dodgy wiring which means the light flickers on and off all night. The stairs to the roof are pretty lethal. Otherwise fine - and the location is excellent, in a quiet back street near to everything you need. Ortigia is wonderful."
