"We loved our stay at The Refuge. We cook at VRBOs and the kitchen was perfect. A grocery store is a short walk away. The private parking in the driveway behind a gate was great. The best feature of the house was the patio and dining table there, we had every meal and enjoyed many glasses of wine there. I highly recommend it and would stay there again in an instant."

"This was a great stay and would definitely go back! The photos were accurate, the only thing missing were the cows that were in the listing photos, but there were plenty of other cows to see on our trip. :) I assumed the master bedroom was on the ground floor, but it was upstairs with a fantastic, large balcony from where we were able to view the fireworks in Angra.The bathtub upstairs is a little tricky to get in/out of for those of us with short legs, and did require an assist from my husband....

"Very large house with gated drive, Webber grill, 5 bedrooms with great amenities, large refrigerator for Europe and a washer and dryer. The house had easy access to everything on the island. Casa muito grande com garagem fechada, churrasqueira Webber, 5 quartos com ótimas comodidades, geladeira grande para a Europa e lavadora e secadora. A casa tinha fácil acesso a tudo na ilha."

"We were on the Azores for a week shooting a travel show for American PBS called Outside Beyond the Lens. We picked this property as our last place to stay since it was in a part of Terceira we hadn't seen yet, and we wanted to film some of the gorgeous agricultural settings of the island. On our last night, we set up cameras and drones and shot everything we needed from the driveway under a top-ten sunset. The home is warm and inviting, and I just loved the feel of the place. We can't recommend...

"Lovely place, away from the traffic of the city but easy to drive around the island. This is a neighborhood, so you’ll still hear a bit of traffic, people, dogs, but it’s private, and has great parking."
