"For a 1* pension hotel the room I had as a solo traveller was superb ! Good sized room, sink, fridge, and balcony was just perfect. Also the property has clearly been renovated as everything appeared new and the common WC/ shower rooms are very modern with a very hot power shower. Raphael and Carlos keep the property spotlessly clean and do a great job. I highly recommend Pension Alcala, but its best to try and book a room with a balcony "

"Wonderful apartments and lovely staff just a pity about the uncomfortable beds. The apartments are wonderful and staff can not support enough, all the facilities you would need, would be a little warm in the summer as fan only but perfect for the winter temperatures.
