"The Lord Elgin is perfectly situated within walking distance of so many of Ottawa's best restaurants. We loved the location as well as the grandness of the exterior and lobby areas of the property. The bathroom in our room had been nicely updated while remaining true to the classic architectural style of the heritage building. "

"We had a quick getaway for a weekend in Ottawa and chose The Metcalf Hotel. It was a great choice. The location was walking distance to the major sights and the local area was clean and quiet. Particularly helpful was Patrick the valet. After a long drive, Patrick parked our EV car and fully charged the battery- what a nice touch. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. This will be our go to hotel when returning to Ottawa. "
