"Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The room was big and it had everything I needed for the night. The space was mostly clean but there we’re definitely places that were missed. I did not see a member of staff until I left the next day and saw housekeeping from a distance. To check in I had to find my name on a list and let myself into the room- the door was wide open. "We stayed in the Kauri chalet and really liked it. The view is great. The connecting room, Rata’s view is even better, but that room is much smaller. If you are a bigger group, booking these two rooms together will be perfect. We woke up to the birdsongs and had a peaceful breakfast on the balcony. The stairs bring the charm to the place and we did not mind the extra steps. Owner/staff are very friendly. PAKnSAVE is only 6 minutes drive away."
