"This was a lovely unit with a great back garden where we could eat our take away dinner outside. The facility provided beach towels, a shovel (for Hot Water Beach), is convenient to the beach, and the bed and cushioned window seat were great. The chief complaint was there is no sink, other than the bathroom sink, in which to do dishes. A bathroom sink is not really a sanitary solution for dishes. We hope that the resort owners take the dishes used in any unit and run them through a dishwasher...

"Beautiful grounds, worth a stroll. Challenging driveway. My check engine light came on so I am losing a day at the mechanic. It is very steep, your car will probably be fine, mine is very old. Twin room has one window which is at the entrance of another room so choose between privacy and natural light. Had issues with mosquitos, light switch near only one bed which doesn't have a nightstand. Overall beautiful property with a challenging room (twin), the other rooms seem better."

"I accidentally booked the wrong weekend and the owner went out of his way to find me a room for 2 days as I went down there for a funeral.Always a great place to stay and very friendly."

"This property was a hidden gem. Clean, modern and quiet."

"Amazing how they were able to equip the train carriage with modern amenities while retaining the original charm. Bath was an add on unit with full fixtures but integrated with the train. Good AC and heating options and nice kitchenette. Check out the fabulous Hobbit and ferrry boat options."

"Lovely new house with new carpet and floorings. Unfortunately the furniture wasn't new and the sofa was badly stained. The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes when we arrived and there were no dishwasher tablets. I contacted the management team but didn't get any response. "Our family thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful luxurious house overlooking the Waikato River. There was a safe swimming area in the river and a hot tub. The house was spacious, with all amenities inside and out bbq etc. inside outside stereo sounds , awesome tv viewing. All amenities provided and more just needed to turn up with bag clothes. Big enough for family or couple. Host with the mostest as well."
