"We drove to the ryokan from Nagoya Centrair and had no problems finding it. Parking was free and it was conveniently located right next to the ropeway (which was great!). Food was delicious and the onsen was great too. The only negative feedback I have is that certain parts of the room was dusty and perhaps the room needs to be cleaned more. Otherwise, it was an very pleasant overall stay."

"We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It is an older hotel but absolutely blew us away with the room and service provided. The room was huge, had everything plus more. The room service was top notch and housekeeping A grade. As foreigners who couldn’t speak Japanese we’d like to thank the hosts of this hotel for your utmost patience with us. "Stayed here over F1 weekend with a great price from hotels.com. Convenient to the Kintetsu station, a bit of a walk from the JR station (1-2km, rubbish footpath near JR so a bit difficult with suitcase). Neighbourhood is personified by the fact there is a "No solicitation" sign on the street outside, and certainly there were a few ladies of the night around when I went to the train station at 5am, but as in most places in Japan, I never felt unsafe walking around (solo female traveler). "We had the halfboard option which means dinner and bfast the next day included. We sure glad we did, dinner n bfast was awesome service and we enjoyed the traditional japanese food a lot. "The room is not so big, but it should be considered as a spacious room in Japan. It is clean and the location is good. A big shopping mall, AEON, is within few minutes walk. The hotel is offering parking and spa onsite free. Everything is good except the toilet is too high from the floor in the bedroom floor. For aged or kids, it's maybe not friendly."

"It was a perfect stay for us. Room was huge. My husband caught a bad flu on the second night so we had to stay indoor for the following day, and I felt extremely lucky we stayed here as the room was big enough to offer the comfort we needed. The hotel staff was extremely professional and friendly. They lend us themometer and helped to call the 24 hours drug store and booked taxi for me upon my requests. Overall stay was very pleasant and highly recommended!"

"Everything was great, but the only hangup is the laundry service where you have to bring your bag of dirty laundry down to the reception for cleaning and pick it up from there as well. Found it very strange as I’ve never had to do this is any hotel I’ve ever stayed in worldwide!"

"I left my luggage with the reception when I had to make a 2-day trip to Tokyo. When I returned to Nagoya and checked in again, the staff used their initiative to transfer my luggage to my newly assigned room. This was much appreciated because I checked in near midnight and was carrying some luggage from my Tokyo trip. "
