"When I picked this location I didn't know anything about the area and proximity to the sites we wanted to see. Having stayed here, I LOVED this house. However, I wasn't as close to the areas I wanted to be with this pick. The house is great. The property is just special. The owners are so nice. Having a dryer was a real treat. The supermarket is close and stocked well. The bikes we great but a little rusty and not working well. We biked over to Costa Nova and that was a lot harder than I...

"La casa es estupenda, tal como aparece en las fotos. El apartamento es amplio, nuevo y comodo, hay una terraza con vista al jardín grande para comer-cenar a la sombra. La piscina y jacuzi con agua calentita. Hemos tenido suerte y casi no hemos coincidido con los otros huespedes (hay otros dos apartametos mas pequeños). Los dueños viven al lado y son siempre diponibles. Todo un lujo. Aveiro esta a 15min con el coche y la playa de barra a 20min. Supermercados cerca. Muy comodo. Super aconsejable."

"The property was everything expected and more. A great property enjoyed by all. Great common spaces and outdoor spaces. Beautiful area close to major beach."

"Check in was very simple. House looked exactly as the listing shows. It’s located super close to restaurants and downtown but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. We had to park at a public parking area on the other side of the river and left our car there for a couple days. There was no issues with the parking besides it being about 5 minutes away. You can walk to everything in less time than you could drive. Beautiful town and great accommodations!"

"A well converted farmhouse and lovely garden. The house conversion still reflects the traditional theme. With little traffic in the street, it was really quiet and an extended garden gave more options to relax. And it is still close to the town of Aveiro."

"The property was excellent. Very light and roomy. A hidden gem in the centre of the village. The outside space was extensive, with sunshine for several hours a day, even in January. Access to the parking area is via a very narrow alleyway, but we soon got used to it, even with a Skoda Octavia. Would strongly recommend this property."

"In many respects, I feel privileged to have been able to stay in this house. Our host, Pedro, was superbly welcoming, helpful, and accommodating. Thank you Pedro!! The house dates from before 1640 (according to an old map). It is on an ancient Roman road, which is part of a pilgrimage camino. The house oozes with character. "This was a great hotel. Nice clean room that was perfect for what we needed. Walking distance to the canal, gondola tours, shopping centre and restaurants. The staff was really helpful. We opted for private parking which was below the nearby mall - the hotel provides a swipe card and directions. A short walk back to the hotel, but felt very safe about leaving the rental car there. "

"We loved our time in Coimbra. The hotel was quiet and a great jumping off point for exploring the streets, sites, and neighborhoods. There is no parking at the hotel but there was public parking nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and the roof and lounge comfortable l. "

"We LOVED our stay here! Right from when we checked in, we got a glass of champagne and a snack, followed by a wonderful breakfast hand delivered to our room the next morning. Everything was spotless, and the staff was very welcoming. The only thing that you should be aware of is there is no lift, so if you can’t do stairs, ask for a main floor suite. Highly recommend this place in Coimbra! "
