"I stayed for 2 nights , the staffs were helpful & nice . The room was larege enough , however the bathroom is very small & old styled , especially the shower area , it’s just so small & the two sliding doors of the shower area were too old so that difficult to close properly , maybe our room was not located in the new building of the hotel ?! Maybe the room located in new building of the hotel would be much better & more modern …….. The hand washing liquid machine is not in good condition,...

"Returned to Alpenhotel 43 years after experiencing it as a child and my wife was equally captivated by its charm. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, the room was excellent with a super view of Lake Traunsee & the mountains and it's a short hop into the charming town of Gmunden. We only stayed 2 nights towards the end of a European driving tour and would definitely go back. Excellent menu choice and top quality good too!"

"We absolutely loved staying here.The accommodation was very warm and clean. Beautiful view and all essentials provided to be able to cook out dinners there. The view was very distracting and we thoroughly enjoyed just sitting and gazing. Tasch was a lovely little town and had two grocery stores that we utilised. "The apartment is excellent, complete with a fridge, stove and cooking equipment. The view of Tasch is fantastic, especially in the winter with all the snow! Tasch is charming, and a short ride to Zermatt via the train. Highly recommend! "
