"A thoroughly enjoyable stay. We stayed here yesterday evening for our Anniversary and had a wonderful time. The bedroom was clean, well decorated and warm. Highlights were the friendly staff especially Christian who was behind the reception desk, the wonderful breakfast spread and homely open fire. Some pointers though, we were in room 40 and unfortunately were a tad upset about the amount of noise made by the pipes/plumbing when next door and upstairs used their bathroom facilities and with...

"The room was lovely and clean and modern. We also had a balcony. The staff was very polite and helpful. Didn’t try the breakfast but did have a Cotswold ale at the bar the night before which was very nice. "
